Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or calling the API, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you may bind that organization.

2. The service

CurrencyCore provides currency conversion, USD triangulation, and Purchasing Power Parity data via an HTTP API, plus a dashboard for managing organizations, API keys, and billing. Exchange and PPP data are provided “as is” for informational purposes and are not financial advice.

3. Accounts & organizations

• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and API keys.
• API keys are scoped to an organization; you are responsible for all usage under your keys.
• Each user may own a single organization on the free tier; additional organizations require a paid plan.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse, reverse-engineer, resell raw data feeds, or circumvent rate limits, and not to use the service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access for violations or to protect the platform.

5. Plans, usage & rate limits

Each plan includes a monthly request quota. Requests beyond your quota may be throttled or rejected. We may adjust limits to maintain service quality, with notice for material changes.

6. Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments as our Merchant of Record, which collects applicable VAT/GST. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the service, software, and documentation. You retain rights to your data. You may use API responses within your own products in accordance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CurrencyCore is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the prior twelve months.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
