How are API requests and AI usage counted?
They are metered separately. API endpoints (convert, rates, PPP) count against your monthly request limit; AI calls draw on a standalone AI credit pool and never touch your request quota. 1 AI credit = 1 AI request.
Do AI credits expire?
Your monthly AI credit allowance resets each billing cycle. Purchased add-on credits never expire and are only used after the monthly allowance is gone.
Is MCP access really on every plan?
Yes, including Free. Connect Claude and other agents to your currency data on any tier.
Can I change plans anytime?
Upgrade instantly; downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle. Billing runs through Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record, so tax is handled at checkout.
